This plant has a compact bushy habit with aromatic minty liquorice scented foliage. Dark violet blue pointed top flowers are borne on dark stems, making a very handsome border plant , and a tea made from the leaves is said to soothe stomach-ache. It makes a good cut flower.
Sowing advice
Sow seeds in spring , summer and autumn in trays or pots, on to moist well-drained seed raising mix. Don’t cover the seeds as light is required for germination. Keep at 20 deg C .
