Alcea rosea ‘Halo Mix’ seeds – ( Hollyhock)

This is a lovely mix of all of the ‘Halo series’ hollyhock colours, including peach, dark pink, purple, cream,candy etc . they all have a dark eye , often very dark burgundy with yellow central stamens. They will grow to about 2 m. It will flower in its first year from seed if sown in early spring

Sowing advice
Sow in spring, early summer, late summer and autumn
Sow directly where they are to grow or in pots or trays
Cover with about 2mm layer of soil. Keep moist and do not let the seeds dry out once planted. They will usually germinate in 2 to 3 weeks at 20°C. If planted in trays, prick out each seedling as it becomes large enough to handle, transplant into 7.5cm pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions for 10 to 15 days before planting out after all risk of frost.
