Arenaria montana seeds – (Avalanche , Snow White)

Description

This is a small, low growing plant which has cushions of small dark green leaves.  In spring the plant is smothered with shining white flowers.  It is a slowly spreading plant which likes to grow in well drained , sandy soil, and is useful for rockeries, pots, and border edging between rocks.  Once it is established, it will tolerate drought quite well, and it is easy to maintain. You can grow it from divisions in spring and autumn, and it makes an excellent very low growing container plant. It flowers in the first year from seed, about 3 months after germination
