This plant is a sturdy perennial which is easily grown from seed and takes little care. It will reward you with charming , showy white to pink to lilac sprays of small starry flowers in mid to late summer , which make excellent cut flowers. It can tolerate a range of soils including moderately dry, but prefers soils which is moderately moist and of medium richness. It can be used in natural landscaping, and as a tall container plant in a large pot, for the back of a paved area, so long as you repot it regularly when it outgrows its container.
