Calendula officinalis ‘Ivory Princess’ seeds – (Pot Marigold)

This is a lovely tall plant with large cream buff yellow flowers.The tips of the cream petals are serrated and have a very slight eyeliner of pinkish brown giving a ruffled, lacy effect which shows off the dark brown eye to perfection. It is a favourite for bouquets and wedding work.

Sowing advice

Sow in spring , early summer and autumn. Sow outdoors when the soil warms up after the last frost, or indoors in cell pots approx. 6 weeks before the last frost. Ideal temp 19 -21 deg C. Cover seed to approx. 0.5 cm and keep moist. Germination should take 5-15 days. If growing in cell pots take care not to damage the taproot when transplanting.
