Description
Cirsium ‘Pink Beauty’ picture thanks to https://www.moleseeds.co.nz
Cirsium ‘Pink Beauty’ has soft pink petalled flowers which produce flowers on long strong stems in its first year if you sow it early enough in the season. It is an excellent cut flower and looks handsome in the garden with its strong thistle like form. The plants are almost completely without thorns.

Sowing advice for Cirsium
Sow in spring , and summer. Sow outdoors when the soil warms up after the last frost, or indoors in cell pots approx. 6 weeks before the last frost. Ideal temp 19 -21 deg C. Cover seed to approx. 3mm and keep moist. Germination should take 5-15 days. If growing in cell pots take care not to damage the taproot when transplanting, because the plants don’t like their roots disturbed when they are moved .
