Description
These plants bear loosely doubled flowers similar to a small informal rose , in shades of pink , salmon and lilac purple. They are very good long lasting flowers for a bouquet, and lend an informal feel to them with their soft frilled flowers.
They grow easily from seed, and will self seed for you if they like the spot you have chosen for them.
They don’t like hot humid summer conditions. Provide light shade if growing through the summer.
Sowing advice
Sow in spring and summer. Sow in seed trays or pots in moist seed raising mix.
Cover seeds very thinly with mix as light aids germination. Keep at 15-20 deg C during the day and no less than 10 deg C at night. Seedlings should appear in 5-10 days.
