This old, heirloom, annual plant has lovely scented flowers in spirals on long  sturdy  stems. It is used to create airy screens and to add height in a garden. It will blend well with all of your other flowers in the garden, and if the location suits it, it will self seed gently for you. It makes a very good cut flower, but remove the spines on the stems for ease of handling. It has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
