Description
This is an easily grown perennial , which has sunny yellow flowers with brown centres. it flowers in early summer and continues flowering until autumn. Heliotflowers profusely within the first year of planting , about 4 months after germination, and comes back year after year. The single daisy-like blooms measure 4-5 cm in diameter and will be a striking feature of your summer garden, which will often capture the attention of visitors. The compact and uniform habit of Heliot makes it useful for the creation of lovely front of border displays and also containers. Heliot grows vigorously without very much care, and doesn’t really mind what kind of soil you put it in so long as the soil has some moisture in it, and the position is sunny.It makes an excellent container plant.

Sowing advice
Sow in spring early summer,late summer and early autumn, in seed trays or pots. Surface sow onto moist well-drained seed compost. Lightly cover seed with soil. Propagate 20-25°C. Germination takes 21-30 days. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to 8cm pots. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed with 50cm spacing.
