Description
This showy cosmos has large soft pink flowers which have a surrounding edge of deeper pink. The flowers can be up to 7 cm across, on a tall plant which has abundant flowers. It is good for picking having long strong stems. It flowers from summer through into autumn and makes a great cut flower
Sowing advice
Sow indoors or sow directly after danger of frost has passed in spring early summer late summer and early autumn. Sow into moist, well-drained seed compost. Just cover with a sprinkling of soil. Ideal temp. 21°C. Germination takes 1-2 weeks. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to individual pots and grown on under glass. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed. Directly, sow into moist well-drained soil, keep moist until plants are established.
