This cosmos has flowers which are most unusual. The newly opened flower is a deep velvet red, and as the flower ages it changes colour through faded rose to almost terracotta. It makes an excellent cut flower and puta on great show in the garden as well
Sowing advice
Sow in spring early summer, late summer and autumn.Sow in pots or trays or direct where they are to grow
Sow indoors prior to the last expected frost or sow direct after all danger of frost has passed. Indoors sow into moist, well-drained seed raising mix. Just cover with a sprinkling of soil. Ideal temp 21 deg C. Germination takes 1-2 weeks.
Direct sow into moist well drained soil, keep moist until plants are established
