This dahlia has very pretty large flowers set off well against handsome bronze foliage. Its flowers are in the colour ranges of reds, pinks salmons  oranges and golds, and all are on long strong stems making it an excellent cut flower. It flowers the first year from seed. It makes a wonderful bedding plant and is also great in containers.

 

Sowing advice 

Sow in spring and summer.  Sow in pots or trays.  Sow onto moist seed raising mix and cover them finely with mix and keep moist but not waterlogged. Ideal temp is 21 deg C.  Germination should occur in approx 7-12 days. Pot them up into larger containers when they have 2 true leaves.
