Description
This Larkspur has lovely large double blooms of white. The plants are vigorous and grow to 1.2 m . They bloom quickly from seed, and can be used as a cut flower and also can be dried. Usually treated as as annual.
Because the flowers open from the bottom , they still have buds at the top, and the flowers will bloom for a few weeks opening successively from the bottom.
This plant is very pretty when used in groups of the same colour in the border .
Sowing advice
Sow late spring and autumn direct or in trays or pots in good seed raising mix. Cover with a thin layer of mix and keep moist. Germination will occur in 3-4 weeks. If grown in pots/trays transplant when large enough to handle, to well drained soil in a sunny position.
