Description

This lovely carnation was first mentioned about 100 years ago in plant catalogues. Its pretty  flowers have delicately frilled petals of luscious very pale  lemon yellowy cream . They are mostly double , but  you will also get a small percentage of single blooms which are very delicate and augment a cottage garden bouquet beautifully It  also makes a great addition to a cut flower bouquet with its luscious flowers which go with just about every colour scheme.  The single form of the flower is in the picture. It is an excellent garden subject and also makes a good cut flower. And of course it has the wonderful , powerful clove scent as with  all of the old carnations which will scent your garden, and let you know that there is a heritage carnation close by  when you walk through.
