Description
This pretty plant produces clouds of dainty double (50%) or single white flowers in summer and autumn, in masses above a neat compact plant with blue green foliage. The flower branches reach 90 cm tall. It is used extensively in wedding bouquets and makes a great cut flower. It can also be dried for winter floral arrangements. It prefers moist well drained soil until established and then is drought tolerant. Trim back after blooming to promote vigorous new foliage. Cut back in the autumn for strong spring growth. it is an easy care plant which is hardy to grow.
Sowing advice
Sow in late winter to spring and autumn to early winter. Sow in trays or pots
Sow onto moist seed raising mix . Cover very finely with soil and keep moist but not wet. Propagate at 20 deg C. Keep in cooler temperatures once they are germinated
