This hellebore has variegated leaves and is a great choice for the border. The light green leaf is overlaid with creamish speckles, and the young shoots in spring are tinged with red. It is best in direct sun and needs air movement around its leaves. In spring the green cup shaped flowers appear above the plant, and are best cut back after the flowers have finished to encourage the beautiful leaves to grow.
