Description
This plant has sweetly scented large 8 – 15 cm white flowers which open in the evening and close at the first rays of daybreak. Although the flowers are ephemeral, they are produced abundantly from midsummer to autumn, and the heart shaped leaves are also attractive. This plant performs as a perennial in mild areas , where its foliage can be used to hide unsightly areas. It is a fast growing climber reaching 3-4 metres in a season. In colder regions the plant is used as an annual.
