Description

Nigella ‘Miss Jekyll Indigo’ – has deep blue flowers which are great for picking and make an easy care garden flower.  The seed pods are very decorative as well and can be used in dried flower arrangements.

Nigella are an easily grown , no fuss flower which have been growing in gardens for centuries, prized by their gardeners for their simple beauty  , and have been used throughout the ages for their medicinal properties. Nigella ‘Miss Jekyll indigo’ prefers a soil which is moist and rich in full sun.

Sowing advice

Sow direct into the place where it is to grow  in spring and summer. Cover  the seeds 3mm deep with fine soil. The ideal germination temp. is 18-20°C. Germination takes 10-21 days approx. Thin seedlings to 25cm spacing when large enough to handle.
