Description
This plant is a stunning addition to the garden, and will also grow in pots. It has large pure white satiny flowers with a striking dark eye at the centre. It makes a good cut flower if it is cut just before the bud begins to open. It is a larger growing variety.
Sowing advice
Can be sown at any time. Light is needed for germination and seedlings do not like to be disturbed.Nor do they like to be over watered. Either sow where they are to grow , on well raked soil, or sow in cell trays or pots , a few seeds to a cell. Sow on the top of moist (but not wet) seed raising mix and press in with the hand. Don’t cover as light aids germination. Keep at about 20 degrees C. Germination takes 2-3 weeks. Take care not to disturb the roots overly, when transplanting cell grown seedlings.
