Description
This poppy has large double silken crepe-paper like flowers of a soft salmon pink, with a dark purple eye and is considered by some gardeners to be the most spectacular of the Oriental poppies.
Sowing advice
Can be sown at any time. Sow in cell pots or trays in moist well drained seed raising mix, or direct where they are to grow. Sow onto the surface of cell pots or trays. Press into soil, but not cover with soil as light is required for germination. Keep at 20 deg. C. They should germinate in 2-3 weeks. The plant resents root disturbance. Small amounts of seeds sown in cell pots make transplanting easier. Plant the seedlings out to cell pots as soon as they are large enough to handle . Be careful not to disturb roots too much when pricking out seedlings from trays..
