This pretty poppy mix has beautiful  ruffled double  pink, coral and white powder puff clouds of flowers which are taller than the normal rhoeas poppy being about 80cm when in full flower. Plant it along your garden walk for a romantic effect when you walk through them, or plant in splashes of colour to produce a watercolour effect. Cut the flowers when in bud and just beginning to open, for a delicate and lovely cut flower which will last for about 7 days.

Sowing advice

These seeds don’t transplant well so they are best direct sown in the spot where they are to grow. Sow the seeds outdoors in September to April onto well prepared soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. Don’t cover the seeds as they need light for germination. They should germinate in about 2-3 weeks at about 15- 20 degC.
