Description
Petroselinum ‘Hungarian Landrace Parsley’ picture thanks to https://www.wildgardenseed.com
This flat leaf parsley seems to resist some of the diseases which umbellifers succumb to . It is a parsley recommended by our supplier to have a sweet flavour , better than many of the other flat leaf parsleys it was tested against in a taste test , a fine texture and seems to be a vigorous grower.
Sowing advice
Sow in pots or trays on moist seed raising mix, in early spring or direct. Cover them lightly with mix and keep them at about 20 deg C. They germinate erratically and can take up to about a month to germinate. Thin them out when they are large enough to handle and space at about 2cm. Plant out when large enough at 15cm spacing between plants.
