This plant produces large strawberry pink flowers with darker red -pink tonings and creamy inner petals around a darker red eye. It flowers non stop during summer and on into autumn. It is a small well behaved plant which is a valuable filler for the garden. It will also grow well in pots.
Sowing advice
Sow indoors in spring or sow directly outside in early summer after danger of frost has passed. Sow in trays or pots
Surface sow onto moist, well-drained seed compost. Do not cover seed as light is needed for germination. Simply press seeds into the soil. Ideal temp. 20°C. Germination takes 14-21 days approx. Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle to individual pots and grow on in cooler conditions. Acclimatise and plant out after danger of frost has passed
