This coneflower is a remarkably hardy , handsome and easy care plant which flourishes at the back of a border, so long as the soil retains moisture well . Can also be used in a large pot as a specimen plant. It has extremely attractive green centred cones from which large, deep gold petals reflex. It flowers from mid summer right through until late autumn when the cold sets in.
Sowing advice
Sow the seeds in moist seed raising mix. Cover with a sprinkling of mix only as light assists germination. Ideal temp is 20 deg C or higher. Seeds should germinate in about 2 weeks. keep in cooler conditions after germination occurs
