This mix has a colour range of violet, red, pink and white . It blooms reliably  and has lovely  flowers held on thin airy graceful spires. It can be somewhat short lived  ( 2 – 4  years) but will self seed readily for you. The small plants can be easily transplanted.  If you deadhead the flowers it will re-bloom for you. Grow this plant in well drained soils which are not too rich in compost. It is drought tolerant and will self seed in the garden. It likes the soil to be a little dry . It makes a good  container plant. It flowers in the first year from seed, about 6 months from germination, if sown under cover in early spring.

Sowing advice
Sow in autumn approx. 2 months before 1st frost or can be sown indoors August – September.Sow direct where they are to grow or in pots or trays
Outdoors: Sow thinly into prepared soil. Once germinated thin to 45cm spacing.
Indoors: Surface sow into deep pots or root trainers filled with moist well-drained seed compost. Allow 3cm between seeds. Just cover the seeds with a fine layer of soil, as light aids germination. Keep moist. Propagate 15-18°C. Germination takes 2-4 weeks. After germination reduce moisture allowing soil to dry out a little.
