This plant forms a nice mound of foliage from which spring long spires of lush cobalt blue flowers in late spring and summer. It was awarded the Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit.
Sowing advice
Sow the seeds on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed raising mix in pots or trays. Sow the seeds thinly . Just press the seeds into the seed mix and don’t cover them. Water from the base of the tray, Place in a propagator or warm place, ideally at 20 deg C . Keep the compost moist but not wet at all times. Germination usually takes 3 -4 weeks. Keep in cooler conditions after germination occurs.
