Description
Viola ‘Brunig’ seeds picture thanks to Thompson and Morgan https://www.thompson-morgan.com
Viola ‘Brunig’ seeds have very dark velvety black petals which have a very bright yellow picotee edge to them. It makes a very unusual and striking small plant for the front of the border and looks good in containers too.. The flowers can be used for small posies, as it has short but hardy stems.
We sometimes have plants of these seeds. See our plants page https://www.owairakaseeds.co.nz/product-category/p-plants-p/
Sowing advice
Sow in spring summer and autumn. Sow in moist seed raising mix in pots or trays . Cover lightly with mix and propagate at 20 deg C. Germination should occur in approx 7-10 days.
